By default, add new should open Quick Report tool.  Instructions how to use these are here.  To toggle to advanced reports, click on 'A' next to the report name field:

This will open Advanced report editor:

Options here are to:

  1. Select fields in the report
  2. Set Status filters
  3. Set Date filters
  4. Set Deal Details filters
  5. Set aggregations (if any). Aggregations add requested fields to get the report sums.
  6. Name the report

Note deleted deals can be used in report by selecting a checkbox on 'Use deleted instead of open deals' (X). Tip: this would be used rarely.

1. Select fields

Search for the desired field to add to the advanced report by typing field name in the search field (A). Alternatively expand the fields (B) and scroll to 2,500+ of available fields. Both options might require a 'trial and error approach' due to a number of available fields.

Tip: If using Broker Tools (majority of users) select lenders and loan details that have 'Broker Tools' in its name (and not 'Home Loan Split') as per the example below:

2. Set Status Filters

Pick a deal status that best describe the desired reporting, eg. for settled deals tick 'Settled' check box.

Note: Lodged means sent to the gateway (ApplyOnline or LoanApp) and Submitted means submitted to the lender AND back channel message confirmed loan was submitted.

3. Set Date Filters

Set the date range either as relative or absolute dates.

Absolute dates are exact calendar dates as per below:

4. Set Deal Details Filters

Here the only option currently is the state, as per the example below:

5. Set the Aggregations

Use aggregations only to get the sums per selected fields. For example if User is checked, then all sums will report on users sum for that selected period.

Tip: Do not use Aggregations if the report is to list all deals in the selected period.

6. Name the Report (and save)

Add the report name in the field and then click on green 'Apply' button at the bottom of the report screen.
